We were absolutely delighted when Roslyn and Rameet placed their order for another Bilbo’s conversion, their 5^th spanning 25 years.

Their Bilbo’s journey started in 1999 when they purchased a T4 Nektar and then followed by a SWB T5 Celex, but felt the manual gearbox became irksome and so traded up to a SWB T5 automatic Celex high-top.

This was then swapped for a T6 SWB Celex high-top automatic that was ULEZ compatible, however ageing joints made them consider another Bilbo’s with an easier bed arrangement.

Recently, they purchased their current model, the award-winning T6.1 SWB high top, automatic Nexa, in lovely Ravenna Blue, one of Bilbo’s most popular conversions.As can be seen above, the happy couple took delivery earlier this year.

The couple usually have 2 to 3 week breaks 2 or 3 times a year, mainly France, but also in Germany, Spain, Italy, and Denmark and really enjoy the smaller rural French Municipal sites.

They also have enjoyed many short breaks in the UK using mainly the two Club sites but have also embarked upon a few longer (usually wet!) trips to The Scottish Mainland and The Isles.

The camper also doubles up for non-camping journeys both in UK and Europe, as it is more comfortable than their Golf and not that much bigger.

Bilbo’s sales and aftersales care has been especially praised by them for its prompt and personal service and any glitches and work that has been carried out was with good grace. Over the years they have recommended many friends to seek out and buy Bilbo’s campervans.
