Bilbo’s latest campervan conversion

The Nexa+ is Bilbo’s development of the standard Nexa and includes a fitted plumbed in electric cassette toilet in the rear, together with a re-worked kitchen area. It comes with a Bilbo’s award-winning low-lie elevating roof, allowing the vehicle to pass under most height restrictions. The result being, a campervan that is designed for many uses. The Nexa+ is available on SWB or LWB chassis.

Bilbo’s rear kitchen, two bedded, 4-seater campervan, absolutely ideal for those wanting to downsize from a larger motorhome or caravan but do not want to lose some of the facilities they have gotten used to.

This conversion allows two people to sleep comfortably in single beds, utilising the rear and front swivel seats which link together to create the sleeping area, leaving space in between allowing for easy access to the kitchen or toilet area when needed. It has an option to turn the single beds into a double and you can specify a roof bed as well.

The Nexa has first class storage with fantastic space under the forward-facing seats for bedding and blankets and there is a half-height wardrobe sufficiently ample to house all of your shirts, skirts and shoes you might need when you are touring.

The kitchen is fully fitted with a neat 3-ring gas hob, combined with a sink unit with electric tap, leaving a large food preparation area, a built in 50 litre compressor fridge situated at waist height and the option for either a mains operated Microwave or gas Grill upgrade.

The main advantage of this model however, is the inclusion of a fitted plumbed in electric cassette toilet which is concealed within the fitted furniture in the rear, this area can also be hidden by a privacy curtain when in use.

The Nexa+ takes campervanning to the next level and is the perfect solution for day trippers and for those that want to have an extended holiday with even better facilities that they have may been used to.

Starter Pack

Bilbo's Starter Pack has everything you need to get started. Including: a 25m mains lead, a Bilbo's mains bag, a mains adaptor, water filler hose, 1 x 907 camping gaz bottle, leveling blocks and a useful plastic box. Subject to availability.

Cab Carpets

A one piece cab carpet embroidered with Bilbo's branding and quality edging. Rubber backed for non-slip and removable either to clean or when the standard wipe-proof rubber flooring is preferred.

Bilbo’s Volkswagen T6.1 Nexa+ Campervan Specification

Compact, nippy and efficient, the Nexa VW camper van is the perfect choice for those downsizing from caravans or larger coach-built VW motorhomes.

The Nexa’s sleek dimensions belie a remarkably spacious and flexible interior, with a generous storage area, four seater, twin beds below, an optional roof bed and multi-positional table.

You’ll find all the essentials included and attractively presented, as well as a wealth of those little touches that turn the ordinary into something special. Designed for comfort and effortless touring, the Nexa makes everything simple and easy.

Gas

Designed to supply the 3-burner hob and optional grill unit the Nexa gas locker will carry two Camping Gaz 907 cylinders at 30Mbar. Gas cylinders are stored in an air tight steel lined storage compartment, which is vented through the floor of the vehicle. There is easy access to the gas locker on the Nexa from the tailgate located at the rear of the vehicle.

Water

The Nexa VW camper van is fitted with a 36 litre onboard fresh water tank and 35 litre waste tank, with an easily accessible drainage tap.

Electrics

All Bilbo VW conversions are fitted with a 12V system and 240V hook-up. The 12V system uses power from a 130amp/hr leisure battery (additional battery to the vehicle battery) and controls all 12V conversion equipment. This system runs the compressor fridge, lighting and water system and is charged when driving or when hooked up to mains.

A Power Management System is fitted with a digital display showing; battery voltage levels, water levels, internal and external temperature, appliance current consumption and alarm clock.

The Nexa VW conversion is fitted with a 240v socket, 12v socket and twin USB socket as standard.

Offering the complete range of Transporter engines, at Bilbo's you have the choice between 3 x Diesel engine sizes, which further options including Manual, DSG Automatic and/or 4Motion (4x4) transmission which are available in certain combinations shown below.

All models are 4 cylinder common rail turbo'd engines, Euro 6 compliant for emissions, with Diesel models all fitted with an AdBlue tank.
